Our Story

Your Team Aimee, Melissa, Linda and Luana

Linda Smreczak

When I got married I planned my own destination wedding. Of course every detail of the wedding and after party was perfect, but I was exhausted and did not have fun the day of. I should have hired a professional planner.

I was born and raised in New Jersey; after graduating Ramapo College in New Jersey I went right into the corporate world. When my husband and I moved to South Carolina I decided to make a complete 180 professionally. I literally fell into the wedding planning world. When I think back on it, my attention to detail and managerial experience comes from my corporate life, coupled with always being the first to plan family and friends parties from an early age made wedding planning a natural seaway for me. I love what I do and make people happy at the same time.
I’m married to a wonderful man that always makes me laugh and puts a smile on my face. We have two dogs ”Bentley” a mini Goldendoodle and "Miles" not sure what he is but he has a forever home.

Aimee Fennessey

Aimee was born in Syracuse, NY but relocated to Hilton Head in her senior year of high school and never looked back. She loves photography and music and continues with those passions to this day. She went to USC- the first year the Bluffton campus was open and graduated with a degree in Business. Like many in the Lowcountry, she worked in food and beverage throughout college where she discovered a love of food, wine, and the appreciation of what really goes into making an event top notch. She started working parties, weddings, any event she could get close to, to learn more about the business.

After graduating from USC, Aimee accepted a position in destination management on Hilton Head and worked selling, planning, and servicing corporate events. In 2009, she had a baby boy, Liam, and decided to take some time off to be a stay at home mom. While she cherished the time she was able to spend at home, she was thrilled to begin working with Amanda Rose Weddings in 2011 and have her event planning passion reignited.

Melissa Cooke

Melissa has been a long time island resident since 1985, met and married her husband here in the Lowcountry and is raising two teenage girls.   She enjoys sailing, photography, all things vintage and of course the beach!  With many years of experience in the hospitality industry, her attention to detail, creativity and heartfelt enthusiasm to asset in all aspects of the wedding day event is truly a blessing!

Luana Graves Sellars

A true New Yorker in all senses of the description, although once I moved to Florida I realized I was a "mis-placed Floridian" who knew that snow and nor'easters were not meant for me. Especially after my first semester at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale where I earned a degree in Journalism. While working in the music industry in promotions and artist management, I began planning corporate events promoting various artists as well as my own dream wedding. As perfect as my wedding was, I also learned the importance of having a reliable wedding planner to handle all of the details and wanted to help other brides on their special day. For years, the success of my own wedding prompted me to be called on to plan weddings for friends and clients and my life as a wedding planner and corporate event planner was born! ailing, photography, all things vintage and of course the beach!  With many years of experience in the hospitality industry, her attention to detail, creativity and heartfelt enthusiasm to asset in all aspects of the wedding day event is truly a blessing! Mother to two daughters, Jazmin and Jayda, we have traveled the world extensively, yet spend most of our lives coming to Hilton Head, where we now call home.
